Perfect for early Spring, Martha Washington Geraniums require cooler weather to bloom.  Sometimes referred to as “Regal Geraniums” these beauties feature richly coloured blooms and ruffled looking leaves. Most commonly appearing in colours such as; lavender, pink, burgundy and purple; with white also making an appearance within in the blooms.

Plant Martha Washington Geraniums in partial sun (ideally afternoon sun) for best results. Martha Washington Geraniums prefer fertile, well-drained soil so be sure to keep them evenly moist but not consistently wet. To promote flower formation, use a balanced water-soluble fertilizer on your Martha Washington Geraniums every couple of weeks.  Be sure to remove faded blooms to promote additional budding and feel free to prune tips to promote bushiness.

Martha Washington Geraniums make a bright and beautiful addition to containers, baskets and beds.
